Cyber Security Awareness Training

Cyber awareness training is a necessity in today’s culture. It is an ever-present risk for business and often, we do not realise that our employees present the greatest exposure – no matter how good their intentions. Social engineering is the number one security threat to any organisation. Recent studies have shown that cyber criminals are increasingly targeting users to enter corporate and personal networks. Our goal is to help people understand not only the risks that come with using the Internet, but also the importance of practicing safe online behaviour. Our training takes you on tour of the threat landscape and shows you the most common ways cyber criminals try to trick you.

The course also covers various topics such as the importance of protecting your personal and company information and how you, as an employee play a critical role in supporting your company to reduce their vulnerabilty from Cyber attacks.

Maximise Your Potential (MYP) – Non-Accredited

MYP is an interactive 1-day training programme that encourages learners to understand how toxic thoughts can make you an unproductive (negative) person. MYP provides the learner with the coping skills to deal with and understand the process of change. A value add to the programme is the “communication window” which is a fun personality tool. This course will inspire and motivate but set the platform for dealing with corporate change, stress, demands and the effects of today’s business world.

This generic assessor unit standard is for those who assess people for their achievement of learning outcomes in a term of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments. Those who achieve this unit standard will be able to conduct assessment in their relevant field of expertise, specifically by being able to demonstrate an understanding of outcomes-based assessment, prepare for assessment, conduct assessment, provide feedback on assessment and review assessment. This learning programme is over a period of 3 days.

This unit standard is for people who conduct internal or external moderation of outcomes-based assessments. People credited with this unit standard can: demonstrate understanding of moderation within the context of outcomes-based assessment system, plan and prepare for moderation, conduct moderation, advise and support assessors, report, record and administer moderation and review moderation systems and processes.
